GENESIS VENTURES

ABOUT

Genesis Ventures.

Genesis Ventures is a CFD and CAD studio working across biomedical devices, marine hydrodynamics and UAV/aerospace. It sells to people who have to defend a simulation to someone who did not run it: an FDA reviewer, a class surveyor, or a prime contractor’s chief engineer. Each engagement closes a defined engineering question and hands over the model outputs, geometry and checks used to answer it.

What the company sells

A bounded design question and the evidence attached to its answer.

Each engagement starts from an objective and hard constraints. The scope, deliverables, price and timeline are fixed in a written statement of work before the design run starts. The package can stop at a closed engine cycle, continue into generated geometry, or carry the engine into an airframe model.

The output is meant to be inspected. A cycle package records the design point and the candidates that were rejected. A geometry package connects the shape to the closed cycle. An engine and airframe package carries installation clearance, mass properties, balance and scripted flight-dynamics simulation into the same release.

The fixed-scope package definitions state the deliverables and commercial boundaries. The design method shows how a brief becomes a sealed release.

How the evidence works

Requirements come before results.

Objectives and thresholds are frozen before a solve. The cycle is closed against that brief, geometry is generated from the solution, and automated checks compare each published result with its declared requirement. Rejected points remain in the record because the miss explains why the selected design exists.

Orion is the public propulsion example. It exposes its model basis, cycle-selection trail, gas-path tables, mass budget, geometry manifest and check matrix. Orion-T1 is the public airframe example. It carries the engine into a closed airframe model, mass and balance solution, and scripted 6-DoF simulation cards. The T1 receipt records results inside the published simulation model.

Buyers can start with the reference releases and follow each claim back to its condition, threshold and measured value.

Published work

Reference releases show the scope and the evidence standard.

Orion is the engine reference. Its selected concept point closes at 13.34 kN with a TSFC of 99.3 kg/(kN·h). The release publishes the rejected cycle point, station tables, component mass budget, geometry manifest and 19/19 automated checks. A reviewer can move from the headline values to the model basis and declared requirements in the same package.

Orion-T1 is the airframe reference. The concept carries Orion into one closed airframe solid with a published mass and balance solution. Its maximum takeoff weight is 696.5 kg, and its static margin is 0.130 MAC. The flight-dynamics receipt contains 6 scripted 6-DoF simulation cards with conditions, expectations and measured model results.

Together, the releases show the company's published work across propulsion, airframe integration and aircraft simulation. The numbers remain in the source data that renders the pages, so the commercial copy and reference evidence share the same values.

The boundary

Evidence with a declared basis.

A Genesis package can show that a configuration closes against a brief inside a declared model. It can provide analysis, generated geometry and a check matrix that another engineering team can review. Each conclusion remains attached to the model basis, requirement and measured result that produced it.

That scope boundary is part of the deliverable. A concept release gives later engineering and test work a traceable starting point. The concept design boundary guide separates the evidence produced at each stage.
